Zodiac

Zodiac is the compact Warzone Resurgence map added in the MW4 Open Beta — a DRC weapons plant in South Korea with ten named POIs (Admin, Solar, Old Mines, Dispatch, Trackline, R&D, Depot, Furnace, Cooling, Sentinel). It is the first Warzone mode to appear in a Call of Duty beta, and it does not use Custom Loadouts: Default Loadouts and ground loot only.

Overview

Zodiac is the compact Warzone Resurgence map added in the MW4 Open Beta — a DRC weapons plant in South Korea with ten named POIs (Admin, Solar, Old Mines, Dispatch, Trackline, R&D, Depot, Furnace, Cooling, Sentinel). It is the first Warzone mode to appear in a Call of Duty beta, and it does not use Custom Loadouts: Default Loadouts and ground loot only.

Movement is meant to feel closer to MW4 multiplayer than recent live Warzone. Fuel barrels are a new environmental hazard. Recon contracts reward a spendable Insight streak instead of instant Circle Peek. SAM Turrets counter air. Learn those systems before you treat Zodiac like Rebirth Island with a fresh coat of paint.

POI identity matters. Admin Tower is the vertical snipe. Trackline has train warnings. Solar has moving panels. Sewers are the unlabeled underground rotate. Default loadout choice is your whole class — pick the rifle that covers both factory interiors and rooftop peeks.

Read Thursday’s Warzone notes separately from Friday’s multiplayer TTK dump. Zodiac uses Warzone-specific damage and mobility. If you queue Resurgence this weekend expecting your 6v6 M4 class, you will not have it.
