Within Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, weapon camouflages are unlocked alongside tiers of the Weapon Level system, which unlock a specific Camouflage with a unlock criteria tied to that camouflage. Camouflages then can be applied under the Customize tab of Gunsmith. Excluding Completionist Camouflages, Camouflages that are unlocked are universal and can be used on any weapon at any point.
