Gunfight is a multiplayer game mode featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Mobile, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
The aim of this 2v2 game mode is to kill the enemy team in 40 seconds. If the time runs out, the Overtime Flag spawns for another 10 seconds, and both teams have an opportunity to capture it to win the round. If nobody captures the Overtime Flag, the round will end and the team with the most total health left will win the round. The first team to win 6 rounds will win the entire match.
The majority of Gunfight maps are symmetrically designed. Both teams spawn with a pre-determined class that changes every 2 rounds. Health regeneration is disabled for this game mode. All equipment aside from the Throwing Knife will not be usable until 5 seconds after the beginning of a round.
